Buy-to-let SDLT changes

From 1 April 2016, second properties will be subject to an additional rate of SDLT.  This will be applicable for properties worth greater than £40,000.

This will not be applicable for corporate ownership.  Therefore, I envisage seeing a greater number of companies owning buy-to-let portfolios.
